I‘ve owned these pants since October 2013, I remember it so clearly because I was pregnant. I would probably even remember the date if I researched a little bit harder, that’s beside the point. I got these pants specifically for “chilling in the house.” 2 years later they are still my favourite chill pants. In the 2 years I’ve had them I’ve worn them outside 4 times only(This outfit post included) These pants were in trend 2 years ago and now they are just another fashion item. Let me digress; Can you imagine, as wide as these pants are, they couldn’t pass my knees, a few weeks after I gave birth!!!!
I do not believe in following trends, however that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t purchase trendy pieces. You don;t always have to jump into new trends, take your time to let your style shine through the trend. I have an amazing pink tweed blazer that I purchased in Germany in 2013, still waiting for the day I’ll work it into my outfit.
I’m never in a rush with my clothes, yes sometimes if I do purchase something it will automatically be in sync with my wardrobe, other times I have to wait. It’s totally normal. However I do hope to wear that tweed blazer this year…If I don’t, I’ll sell it.
I paired my palazzo pants with a sports bra and a black vest Jacket and some flats. I’m I the only one out here who takes long to absorb a trend?
