I love kimonos! I don’t care if they are out of style, out of trend, out of fashion…I will continue wearing them. Kimonos are extremely versatile, take them to the beach, on a safari, casual day at work, to a wedding and even on Ngong hills.

I prefer dramatic kimonos that sweep the ground as I walk, the longer the length the better. Something light that is easy to throw on a boring outfit. As much as kimonos are versatile, they only work best with warm weather. Current Nairobi temperatures are perfect for this type of garment.

This year I’ll overdo kimonos, denims and official skinny pants; my current must haves. What’s that one piece that you can’t live without?

Am yet to see a photo of you smiling.
    Why so serious?
