Skin Care

I recently did a video on My Current Favourite Skincare Products and the Elemis Herbal Lavender Repair Mask was one of them. I’m still loving it and it had to be favorite in June. It’s been working so well on my large pores and they have greatly reduced in size.

I got the L’oreal Gentle Eyes & Lips Makeup Remover at duty-free in Dakar. It is oil based and doesn’t leave you feeling dry. It is also for sensitive eyes, doesn’t irritate me at all. The only thing I hate about it is the bottle opening, it is so huge that so much product comes out.

I got tired of using my palms to clean my brushes, I got the Sigma Brush Cleaner. This is so convenient and easy to use; slip it into your hand then use the different textures to clean and shape the brush.

I swear on skinny jeans and chocolate glazed donuts, this has to be the best primer and finishing spray duo I’ve come across. I got the Skindinavia bridal Kit which includes a makeup primer spray for oil control and a makeup finishing spray. It promises to give your makeup a velvet finish and keep it in place for 16 hours. I haven’t had my makeup on for 16 hours however, It’s kept my makeup in place for at 10 hours. I used the sprays on the “Wedding Guest” makeup tutorial; I will do a more in-depth review on my YouTube Channel soon.

MAC Good Luck Mochi Lipstick

I’ve been using the La Girl Pro Conceal for 2 months now, my friend Sheila  gave them to me and I love them! I don even know why I never tried them earlier.

The Mac foiled eyeshadow in Enchanted Forest is also another favorite, I got the eyeshadow last year but I only started using it 2 months ago.

I got the Mac cream color base last month and it’s a multipurpose product. You can use it an eyeshadow, a base for your highlight, on your body as a glow highlight, as lip color and even as a blush. It can be used by itself or with a highlight to intensify the glow.

My 2 favorite lipsticks of the month are Mac Goodluck Mochi and LA Girl Velvet Matte Lipstick in Spice.

I probably might need the brush cleaner. I get really lazy with the idea of using my palm to clean the brushes all the time. It’s so much work! Lol! 🙁
